Gradschooler,

With ready made ties there may be a big difference in sizes with various constructions.

However, with custom made ties there is little difference, and you can request us to adjust the size of your knot when you checkout in the knot area.

The best way to adjust knot size is to widen or make more narrow the knot area. Adjusting the interlining can be done at times but is not the best method.

"That sounds interesting. Will there also be patterned grenadines?"

RogerC,

In the very near future - new weaves and some new colors.

Down the road more stripes and possibly something else.

"David, enjoy, I just took my family to Chang Mai for vacation, we had a blast"

Globetrotter,

Good to hear that you and your family had fun - I am surprised at how many people have visited Chaing Mai.

"David, Any idea when the red and burgundy cashmere will be restocked?"

Calidist,

A good question - hopefully very soon I can have some quiet time to work on that order to have more cashmeres woven.

I can't say for sure today but hopefully in about 3 months we will have more in time for fall.

Is this Number #11?  That is the tie I was thinking of wearing for my wedding with my charcoal 3 piece.

Hey SF members,

Anyone have the Dark Pink Reppe tie? I'd be most interested in seeing the tie in action and IRL. I will probably order it, but curious if it is dark/subdued or on the bright side of things. Thanks!

First order from David arrived today. As everyone should know service and quality is second to none.

Some prints that don't show up too often, might help some decide.
Warning snooze fest:

The usual grenadines, plus a cotton silk. Maybe the sleeper of the bunch.

Thanks Spoo / Dave

Only .03 centimeters wider than your new go to width

or

4.1 cm more than foo.gif's expansion.

GradSchooler,

In about 2 weeks I should be making an order of English silk - perhaps 3 months afterwards we will have the silk.

Meanwhile new grenadines have been woven and we should receive them in a couple of weeks.

JPHardy,

Great photos - I like the wood background.

David - I understand that you are currently moving but when can we expect the new Macclesfield prints up on the site?

Levoosh,

A very good question - my apologies for the delay.

I am not sure exactly when but we have swatch sets available.

I will be happy to send you a set as a courtesy - perhaps you can pass it on when you finish looking at them.

I was going to hire a graphic designer/photographer in Bangkok but then we decided to move so we waited.

Now I am looking for the right person who also has an interest in classic textile design.

Thank you David - you have my PM. I will continue the noble trend of passing along the swatches when I am done.
