Linkinwayne sold me a tie labeled as "alpaca". When the label in fact says 50% POLYESTER 50% wool.
Call me naive, but I did not expect to see a polyester tie on this forum, so didn't ask... Imagine if for every tie you had to ask is it 100% xxx? When I contacted him about it, response was less than polite. The monetary value is negligible but since he's selling more stuff, I'm leaving a feedback here.
At his implicit permission, I include our pm back-and-forth and leave you to judge whether you'd want to deal business with him. I just don't want anybody to get a lens with oily aperture due to "brevity".

As it is, I am disinclined to do anything of the sort now and you will unfortunately have to bear the strong financial hit this loss will deal to you.
I attempted no deception of any sort, and any information you may have wanted was left out purely due to brevity. If you had wanted to know more about the items on sale, the assumption was that you would have messaged (eg. asking about the width/length/composition of a tie). You do understand that I do not run a departmental store and am thus under no obligation to accept returned goods.

For example you could have suggested to refund me $4 , or suggested that I ship the tie back and split the cost etc. That is, some scenario where we each take a loss.

I am most definitely not going to refund you a single penny. In addition, I couldn't care less if you 'make it public'.

I wrote politely anticipating a mutually satisfactory agreement. Instead I receive a one-line response with no salutations nor valedictions, much less an apology.
As a result, I would like my full $8 back now. If you want the tie back, you can pay for shipping back to Canada too.
Another alternative is for me to see if I can even get $1 for it at the local thrift store and you can pay me the difference back.
I would rather resolve this now before making it public or filing a complaint with paypal. But it's up to you at this point.

Hi,
The tie you sent me says 50% Polyester and 50% wool on it. Nowhere does it mention Alpaca as you advertised, and before even looking at the material tag I could feel the difference in quality. I would appreciate a refund, thought at the price of shipping there's no real point of me shipping it back to you... What do you suggest? Thanks
Regards,
Johnny
