brown or black shoes for wear w/ red chinos?

Tan could be fine. White or off-white would be a real eye-catcher with those dark pants, and I think that's a point against them.

And now that someone's mentioned navy bucks, that actually sounds promising, too.

Great ideals everyone. I have a similar red jean (brighter) and normally wear brown sandals. Sometimes I will wear black scandals. Almost always wear a white t-shirt or white top with this combo to be safe.

On a similar note, I was thinking about getting this pair of orange cord pant on ebay, but was a little hesitant on the color. Would the consensus be dark brown footwear on this as well? I'm not too sure how to pull this one off.

I would go with tan suede or brown suede, which is what I wear with my red pants.

BB flip-flops fit the bill--with a logo hoodie.

That being said, navy suede or driving shoes (navy is my go-to shoe color this summer).
