I don't get all the paleo hate, it's basically just healthy eating.
The reason why I did it was weight loss, as most fruit nowadays have been genetically mutated, so they are sweeter, than what they were like 50 years ago, which is why apples from the shops are sweater, than the ones you have on the 100 year old tree in your back yard.
I read some research a while ago, which stated that a 100g of apples have more sugar, than 100g of gummibears, which was makes sense especially with pink lady apples etc. also most fruit like watermelon is basically just water and sugar, so they aren't as healthy as one would think.
I had some nuts and berries, but that was about it.
