Well at least you know someone took the time to carefully pack everything, and check your order before shipping. I rather that than just crammed in a box and have everything come in damaged

Some people are impossible to please, you sound like one of them.

The packaging is great, but it's over the top. You know how much freakin' tissue paper they wasted in my box? Just to get to my items, I made a mess on my kitchen table. You order something from Howard Yount or Panta? That's all one needs. Packaged enough so it doesn't get damaged, and I find it sufficient. I'm pleased with that.

My bigger issue is I want to return some of that shit, and now I have to waste time repackaging it, and I've ripped a bunch of the tissues with all the f-damn stickers.

Gotta say that this experience, both my own purchases AND the proxies, was mostly satisfactory. The Mr. Porter customer service department couldn't have been nicer. I have decided NOT to keep the two Filson field bags I ordered. (I'm not really a messenger bag kinda guy.) So, I'm passing along half of the savings through B&S.

By "passing along half the savings", you actually mean marking it up 25% more than you paid for it.

I'd venture to guess the poster must be from marketing and you must be from legal or consumer affairs!

Well, with a screen name like THAT, he can't possibly be from my side of the sartorial tracks... But, hey look at the bright side! I now have TWO SFers on my ignore list!!

Is something cost $100 and was purchased for 50% off, then it was purchased for $50. If it was subsequently sold for $75, then it was marked up $25. The $25 markup represents 50% of the purchase price. Thus, he's marking it up 50% more than he paid for it.

I don't have a problem with a markup--just pointing out the math misunderstanding.

As I've been contacted by a few members, my offer to proxy still stands against a fee of 30GBP per order still stands (I believe that's in line with what's been offered so far on here). PM me for details.

Since I'm also a founding member, I also take orders. I sell a lot of things on eBay and I have a verified PayPal account.

You can send me a PM/e-mail with:

- 1. Article, 2. Size, 3. Quantity
- Address
- Payment details

Flat fee via PayPal after the order is placed:

€25

Just some proof:
