Mr. Porter 50% off sale - picked up gucci tux etc already - Page 13

I got my Drakes tussah today - BIG thank you to Fred H for handling the proxy - and impressive packaging from Mr. Porter... down to the personalized sticker on the tissue.

Ordered my Drakes' silk tussah today...can't wait for it later this week.

Although I did not realize it was the narrower one (what is that, 9cm?) but its still awesome.

I bought the navy Burberry Prorsum trench. It's beautiful, if expensive, even at half off. I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep it. Anyone have opinions on it? Seemed like one of the better deals.

The Burberry Prorsum trench (or the Prorsum line) are really the best deals. If it is your size and fits your style, then you made a great selection as I don't think you would be able to find it at a better price.

i, too, picked up the navy prorsum trench and think it is amazing. however, i was a bit hesitant since i have one in black, but the black one is full length, whereas the navy one is cropped. is there any reason to keep both? debating on whether to return the navy one or not.

I have a similar situation. If your existing black trench is not a prorsum, then I would keep both. They had a grey prorsum trench that I liked, but didn't have my size. That will be my next color trench.

All of the packaging with the huge MR. PORTER labels is a bit annoying. I guess it's like unwrapping a birthday gift, but it's not my birthday, I'm not 10 years old and I already know what's in it.

Actually, the black one is prorsum as well. but I got that one at half off too, so basically 2 prorsum trenches for the price of one! Saw the grey one too, and man it looked incredible. But if I'm debating on whether to have 2, 3 would have definitely been out of the question!
