For Sale:
1989 Fully restored Jeep Grand Wagoneer, by Norbert of grandwagoneer.com

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer was produced from 1984 - 1991, and was an extension
of the Jeep Wagoneer which was the first true "luxury" 4×4 vehicle. The Jeep
Wagoneer's production spanned nearly three decades - 28 years total - with
several mechanical improvements that included power steering and automatic
transmission, both of which were seldom heard of in 4×4 vehicles when the
Wagoneer first made its debut. At this point, the Grand Wagoneer from this
period has become a classic, in its styling, quality and features, and
excellent examples have crossed over from the category of utility vehicles
into the realm of the collectible.

No one carries out more thorough, complete and detailed rebuilds of these
iconic trucks than Norbert (http://www.grandwagoneer.com), and many key trim
and interior parts utilized in these "better-than-new" restorations and
rebuilds are now unavailable from any source, at any price. The vehicle on
offer here, a 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer finished in Dover Grey Metallic/
Cordovan, was the subject of one of Norbert's obsessive rebuilds, to an
incredibly high standard of originality, correctness and detail, only five
years and 7,000 miles ago. The process undertaken by Norbert in his
restorations can be seen in detail on his Web site, but suffice it to say
that every single component in the car is removed, rebuilt, refinished or
replaced with OEM, as needed or appropriate. Additionally, detailed photos
illustrating every facet of the restoration on this example can be seen at
http://gallery.me.com/mfj20th#100008 as well. The Jeep now rides on its
correct, OEM alloy wheels, and is in excellent, unmarked condition, inside
and out. The car is kept in the Los Angeles area, and is available for
viewing in Southern California. It will pass any detailed cosmetic and
mechanical inspection, and we welcome all serious inquiries. Offered at
$90,000 it cannot be duplicated for this price, the best available anywhere.

Please contact Michael at (408) 828-6825 or mj_39@hotmail.com to arrange
your inspection.

Was 1989 a classic year? Like 55 Chevy's or 65 mustangs? Wasn't power steering invented in the 1940's?

My friend has a 1998 Saturn that doesn't have power steering.

Very cool. But for 90K I could go buy 3 nice used Range Rovers. Or maybe a used Bentley Flying Spur. Or a Range Rover and Ferrari 360 Modena. Maybe a nice used Mercedes E63 AMG and the Range Rover would be nice.

It's a beautiful restoration just can't fathom that kind of money for it.

Great photos, mate! Top-notch! A steep price indeed, but it looks like a beauty. However, I think you'd be most successful in keeping this beauty for yourself and enjoying all the hard work put into it. Good luck with the sale!

An example of an amazing restoration, but does this come with a termite protection plan?

I see a great advertisement for Sentricon.
