1. Vass U-Last Old English Plain Captoes in Oxblood / 9D or small 9.5D - I just received these and the U-Last is unfortunately not working for my feet in this size. Major bummer since these are simply amazing. The shoes are new with box, trees and have been worn inside for about 10 minutes. Priced at $SOLD pp personal. Pictured trees included. Info from order: Old English Plain\tU\tCalf\tOxblood\t42.5\tSpring\tDouble tapering to single sole. Seamless Heel. Beveled waist. 2. C&J for Polo Darlton/Marlow 8.5D (fits 9D) in dark brown Shell Cordovan. I purchased these from another forum member and they do not fit me in the heel so I am selling. I seem to have this problem with many shoes which isn't much fun. Tongue pads have been installed and can easily be removed if needed. Uppers are in excellent shape with a few small marks/scratches on them but nothing major. Bottoms have little wear and the heels have a bit of wear on them. All in all, excellent shoes with a good amount of life in them before a resole is needed. $SOLD Pictured trees not included. My size, not my budget.

I'm interested but what NAMOR said about sizing ..for instance Op says "U-Last 42.5/9D...". I could be totally wrong but I thought 42 was US 9?

yeah, this is what I mean. i have come across a few of these inconsistencies myself. hopefull rioni can state his true shoe size and why this pair didnt fit him

For the U last you have to add 0.5-1 onto your european size in most cases. I'm a UK9/Euro 43/US10 in most shoes/ brands but my perfect U last size is somewhere in between 43.5 and 44, probably a touch closer to 44 than 43.5. Also cordovan tends to fit just a bit looser than calf.

I ordered two pair. The F-Last in size 42 fits perfectly but the U-Last in 42.5 is just abit too large. From what I've read, 42.5 is the correct size for a 9D so I'm not sure why my feet don't agree. For reference, I wear EG 888 8.5/9E and most Lobbs in 8E.

Too large? Well, there goes my theory

Pics have been posted. Also adding a pair of C&J loafers. 9D's rejoice.

Agreed. I'm debating going wicked stepsister on a couple of toes...

OP, given that you're a 9D and the Vass do not fit you, they are unlikely to fit me either. But if it's not too much of a bother, measurements would be nice,

First drop on the Vass. Several pm's about the trees -- these are included as are the bags and box. Now at cost.

Nice Vass. My first pair were a 42.5, U-last. I am a 9D, and they were too big for me, too. However, my feet are unusual. I am all over the map. This makes me think I need more Vass in my life.
