most comedies fall into this category. they throw away almost all of the good lines in the trailer, and some are made funnier out of context, when seen in the movie its not even funny. few comedies end up funnier than i expext, if funny at all. and i love movies. /rant

After the Fox. I bought this last year only based on that trailer below. The film isn't worth getting. I watched it exactly once (with pain) and never again. But I still love that trailer (also the score by Burt Bacharach is top!):

Basic Instinct.

Really, really good/effective trailer (especially when viewed in a cinema). Movie was OK but had no chance of living up to the impression left by the trailer.

Hi All,

I am a newbie I hope I will learn fun styles with you guys.
About movies, trailers are better that the actual movie as the best part are usually shown on the trailer. My favorite is Spider-man.
