After only a few wearings, the leather outer sole on one of my Bally lace-ups has begun to peel away from the midsole at the top of the shoe.  This does not seem like a problem that should be happening to a $375 shoe (which granted, I bought for $175 on sale).  Should I take the shoe back to the store or just try to fix the problem myself with some glue or other adhesive?  And has anyone run into a similar problem with Ballys?

I would go back to the store. I haven't ever had that problem with Bally shoes; they're usually pretty well made, even if we're not talking J. M. Weston here. If the store won't help you out, you can either try Shoe Goo (or Super Glue), or"”preferably"”have them fixed by a pro. In that instance, of course, I would also let the Bally shop know that it's the last time you'll be buying Bally shoes.

C TAKE THEM BACK.... I have no bearing on the quality of Bally shoes. Â You probably just got a "Lemon." But.......if the new pair does the same then Bally shoes just suck. On the same note, when I played soccer I always wore Reusch gloves. The same style of glove for about 3 years, the International/Meola. Â I think the 6th pair I got was not stitched properly in the thumb, sent them back and got a perfect pair back. Wow babble babble.....hope this helps. Parsonsdb
