For some forum member willing to undertake and find a good reweaver a really nice light weight wool sport coat with Bijan label and marked in ink as 36 R and made in Italy. I know that Bijan has used quite a few European makers and the label in this coat sort of reminds me of Caraceni's used on some of Luciano Barbera's Sartoriale line. Double vented and two buttons and with nonworking cuff buttons. Lapel at widest 3 1/4 inches. Minimal shoulder padding. Measurements:
shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 17 inches
armpit to armpit: 20 1/2 inches
length from bottom of collar: 30 inches
sleeve from shoulder seam: 26 1/4 inches
No stain marks in lining and in very good condition from my own closet.
If you are going to undertake to find a good reweaver, you might like to know that such a light color brown is not the ideal choice for the project. I have done two reweaving (Without a Trace in Chicago and local reweaver for another). Perhaps others on the forum can give other cost estimates but I paid $70 for one similar size hole on the sleeve and $260 for a bigger project on a H. Huntsman & Sons bespoke with one dime size cuff moth damage and half dozen tiny moth bites. Please note that it was just returned from dry cleaners to insure no more moth infestation. Just pay for shipping.
