i meant the back blade is too long, not the front. and yes i do tuck in the whole tie. front and back because its better than having the back blade longer than the front.

I cannot think of a time where this action would be appropriate.

This thread may have actually heralded the end of SF.

maybe an eating contest? Maybe when you're trying to down a 20 pound steak and you don't want to get A1 sauce on your tie.

Take off the tie? Problem solved!

Move to Korea. Could be that I have a fat neck, but in any case, if I tie a windsor knot and want the tie to reach my beltline, the short side of the ties here stops about 3 inches below the knot.

^ How long are you ties maybe you should move to a 64inch. As for tucking a tie into your pants? all I can say is I though we were all adults here. FWIW i think its a bad, bad tragic look.

i can see why it is generally not accepted by menswear aficionados to tuck your KNIT (only knit, never anything else) tie into your pants but since style and fashion evolves at such a fast pace, these little quirks can shaped into trends for the modern fashion forward man. imagine when suits were up and coming, the revelation of side vents or no vent, how those have shaped menswear into what it is today. im not saying this is the new thing for everyone to do but it is a trend thats been more around lately. one that i have bought into. http://sartoriallyinclined.blogspot....ered-out.html?

U nuts? 64"? If you are 6' 6" maybe.

64" is an xlong tie. 53" is more appropriate for a shortums. A 57" tie length tends to be the right length for standard men with 5.4" penors.

Also note, many men have very long torsos and short legs so dont just base this judgement on your overall height. It depends on how much of a mutant your body style is.

5.4"? Is this a rolling 30 year average, or does the pool just keep growing? What is the median? I am pretty sure in health class back in 1996 the average was 6"
