UPDATE:
we have 7 members for the CJ Lowdnes Double Monk in Brown Calf. If others are interested please check last page of thread and join in! We have to decide on a CJ location, members can then give a deposit on the shoe and the orders can be made up
http://www.crockettandjones.co.uk/monkshoes-lownde.html

For those of you who dont know, crockett and jones charge a high premium to have the shoe of your choice made up in any fitting (works out to be close to EG prices)

If we get 6 members or more to agree on a shoe (model and colour in any size and any width) we can get the shoes made for us in the factory and avoid paying any premium (pay normal retail)

below are some models i would like to have in my fitting...but we can do this for absolutely any CJ shoe!

All Models:

I might consider Saville suede (since suede can't be stretched easily, I can't get away with an "E" size)

Is C&J's "G" fitting the same as a US "E", or "EEE"

C&J's G width is quite wide -- definitely not analogous US E width (what I consider to be US midwide). Crockett & Jones F-width is more the equivalent of a US "E width". So if you had to find a rough US equivalent for C&J's G wifth, I would say it's in the EE to EEE range.

well we need 6 votes for the same model..

so far we have:
G fit:
double monk in brown calf: 1 vote
saville suede: 1 vote
lowndes brown calf: 1 vote
lowndes espresso suede: 1 vote

so, keep your votes coming in! i will add my 1 vote to most of the above G fits and repost this once more votes come in (F fit too narrow for me). so we need 4 more votes to any of the models above

F fit:
F handgrade Belgrave: 2 votes

Have you called the Crockett & Jones shop in Londen? They do have some models in G from time to time. As far I know they also deliver within Europe, but I'm not sure about the U.S.

Also note that designations like E, F, and G are relative to the last being used.
