PSA: great deals on Boglioli - Page 4

Whatever, VAT or no VAT, it's an amazing deal. My cream cotton suit just arrived (less than a week shipping!!) and I couldn't be happier with it. It fits perfectly as it is, I'll just need to shorten the sleeves. I hope my tailor can work around the surgeon sleeves. The suit quality is excellent, although it's not the main Boglioli line, it's Boglioli Coat. I doubt it's canvassed, but I'll ask my tailor. In any case, thank you for the PSA, I now have a very light, unlined and unstructured summer suit.

So gf had to end up doing the order. Her Credit Cards wouldn't work either, but she was able to use paypal. Even though there's no way to choose united states as an option, the payment still went through. Yeesh this was difficult.

Thanks for the help guys.

Got a suit in 3 days from Italy. Fit is great and I think it's a great product.

+1 on that. Thankfully, sleeves weren't overly long on mine and I got away shortening them without the need to do it from the shoulder (they have working buttonholes). My tailor charges $200 for shortening the sleeves from the shoulder, so it'd be quite a setback. I've ended up ordering another jacket from threedifferent, because the first suit fit me great without any alterations, except for the sleeve length. That's a first time ever.

I had the same experience, Ace, except that fortunately even the sleeves were perfect. I just have to get the pants hemmed and I'm good. The question is to cuff or not to cuff.....

Anyone know about the pants sizing? Would you think they are sized similar to Mabis?

They are ever-so-slightly looser. I don't take most of my Mabis in the waist and I had to with Boglioli.

I got a bunch of buttons in different colours with a K. Jacket I ordered from them, one of each color and not the same buttons as the one on the jacket. Does anyone know what these are for?

For reference, this is an out of the box, unaltered boglioli jacket.

It's just part of the price tag and label. K Jackets on retail have the coloured buttons and a price tag threaded through the lapel pocket; I suppose it makes the jackets stand out when they're on display in shops.

K Jacket spare buttons come in a cashmere pouch adorned with the slogan "take it as it is", stowed in the inside pocket.

Threedifferent just got a shipment of Boglioli in again. I think it's 200 Euro for a sportcoat. Amazing deal. Go for it. Some nice staple patterns still available. I've already had my fill from their earlier stock.
