PSA: great deals on Boglioli - Page 2

Nice PSA, picked up the tan cotton suit.

Could just be me but something about the suits makes them look cheap.

That's because they are ill-fitting on that model. They don't look cheap at all:

Just ordered a dark grey wool Boglioli jacket (98 euros) and a pair of Buttero sneakers.

I bought before 3 Boglioli jackets (especially this K jacket in linen that I love) and some Lidfort shoes from them. Fast and good shipping price. The Boglioli pants(or suits) seem a very good deal, but no pair in cotton I've tried before fit me well.

they do not refund VAT, which is illegal

Anyone has experience with Tonello jackets? Threedifferent.com has lots of them - the price is the same 98 euros

Has anyone else had trouble using their payment system? I think it's a European version of paypal called IWSmile. I can't seem to get it to accept my credit card. I also tried to use paypal, but it doesn't give an option for US users.

I've ordered once before and they sent me the wrong size. You can return but the shipping charges are on you.

can you please tell us about the fit? the only bogli SC i got from yoox in size 50 IT fit like a size 48 or even 47 IT. Should a tall slender guy with athletic chest/shoulders size up?

Fit is on the slim side but I'd say TTS, I wouldn't size up a whole size ie a 42 would be too big for a 40. Fit is a like Sartorio but a touch slimmer, particularly the pants.

very slim fitting on the pants indeed. tried this brand via yoox before. the jackets are short as well, not Regular length

Their sizing must vary widely, because it seems we're talking about different brands. I had to narrow down the shoulders on my size 48 (38US) suit because it was so big. And the pants are still a little too wide for my tastes.

^ Ace, the width of the belt and tie doesn't match the suit's proportions. Looks good otherwise

I don't want to hijack the thread, since it's not about me and that pic was only to show how a Boglioli cotton suit looks like in real life, but I'll disagree with you. I think they match the proportions almost perfectly. The tie width is the same as the lapels and the belt is simply a dress belt of standard width.
