Nudie Slim Jim Dry too long

Been trying to search on SF but I'm getting mixed responses.

My new Nudie SJ Dry Organic Dark are about 3" too long. I want the most whiskers, honeycombs, etc so I know I'm not going to wash them for a very long time. But with the length being far too long, the honeycombs will be out of place when I finally wash/soak and hem.

I read Nudie Dry in general shrink far more than any other raw denim. Should I hem now or just let it stack far more than what I want in anticipation of major shrinkage later on?

soak to get the shrinkage out of the way, then hem if needed.

Hot or cold soak?

Look at the raw/dry denim threads. Hot soak them for like half an hour. Then hem them if it's still too long.
