GATs too thin, solutions?

Like the title says, I bought some GATs and they are too tight at the toes, they are causing irritation on the edges of my pinky toes. I assume this isn't normal. BTW, these are german army surplus, not CP or MMMs. Should I just size up, or is there a way to fix this like by stretching the shoes or something like that?

shoe stretcher (and some rubbing alcohol if needed) can usually get you a quarter size. So if you are close give it a try, either take to shoe repair shop or just buy your own for like $10 online.
