You ladies keep rewarding the douchebags with sex - do you think the guys are going to change their ways? LOL Women have the power to change it, but they won't. There's a part of them that's attracted to these idiots.

some ladies reward some douchebags with sex.

what I am saying is that, at least for myself and my cohort of friends, it doesn't matter how nicely you dress, if you are a jerk, you are unattractive. I certainly have seen many instances where jerky behavior attracted the attention of the certian quality of woman. imo, they deserve each other.

This was a very long time ago, as in about 20 years, so memory grows hazy. I remember it was a light cream shirt with light goldish and light blue needle work. It was actually a pretty cool looking shirt and I was probaby the only haole in my city with a MTM barong.

but see being stylish and being attractive are two different things. certainly being stylish helps, but like you said you could be stylish and attractive or you could be either or neither.

moral character is an element to being attractive, but not an element in style

i guess you could make an allowance for a kind or aura, but tbh i feel like such a perception is unconscious perception of physique and clothes.

Style has nothing to do with the content of one's character. Also, the idea that one's outward appearence is reflective of some kind of "true" inner condition I find to be highly overrated. The surface leads its own life.

^This may be true for a still photograph. But things irl, things in motion, tend to reveal more. And all of our choices, even about what to wear, reveal much about our values, etc. So while I agree that appearance can be deceptive, I think the inside and outside are more connected than you might think.

Neat. I was thinking that the quality of the fabric may have indicated how much he liked you.

I think he liked me as much as one could expect a DP lawyer from Manilla to like a big, brash 20 year old haole dating his daughter. Which is to say I never drank something he handed me.
