This floorplan is not labelled, as my wife made it herself, off a copy the builder gave her of the actual building plans. No patios are included, neither is the courtyard, which will be outfront. The master bedroom is bottom left. The whirl pool tub has a double sided fire place, that will open into the master bedroom too. You can see the large walk in closet, as well as the other secondary closet. The recessed fireplace, over which I want to hang our flat screen (as has been discussed) is at the top of the picture, and it borders the kitchen. You can see there will be a great room, so that when you walk in, the views flow out to the back yard. If you look directly to the left of the front door, you will see a powder room. The recessed nook outside the powder room will have our 500 or so bottle wine cellar slide into it. We're still playing with the kitchen configuration, but you can see this one has an island/curved counter design. Proposed move in date is Feb 2011. Anyway, here it is. Total sq footage just under 4900 sq feet.
Are you still planning for this month? From your description, it sounds like an amazing place.

No, that was scrubbed many moons ago. I am a victim of the housing crisis. It quickly became cost prohibitive and we are just sitting on the land, waiting to see if we buy something out of foreclosure in a year or so or go back to the build plans.

hey conne! I like that big wooden wall unit thing. It's nice in an ugly and tacky way. btw this isn't sarcasm, I actually like it.

Late to the party, but gdl, that place looks amazing! And jokerman, looks great, but you should really wall mount that projector. Otherwise, looks like a great studio. How big is it? About 300-400 sq ft?

Nice... from the photos, exactly what I would switch out as well..haha! I'm very envious!

I am looking forward to posting pictures of my place. I haven't moved in yet, but I have been furnishing it with what money I can scrounge together. Stay tuned

Can't see your pictures lefty, but judging from your previous ones, I'm guessing your new place looks pretty great as well. Edit: nevermind, it worked by copying the links. Looks really great, any pictures of the living room and kitchen?

Best I can do are tiny pics.

I'm a little torn on this place. Cool space but it means changing our living style drastically and I'm a Taurus.

I have no idea what this means. But that pad looks way more like a hotel room than a house. Very nice.

Bingo - it's very hotelly and I prefer something with a little more rustic charm.

Taurus: stubborn and dislikes change. My wife digs it though.
