Shops/Dining in Phoenix/Chandler, AZ?

Limited to Sunday-Wednesday, but will have a car; so anything within an evening's striking distance would be good to know. From the old (2006/2007) threads, I see that Scottsdale may be the place to start; so if anyone could narrow that down with updated info it would be appreciated. Thanks - James

Places to eat- Fnb and Pizzeria Bianco are the two must while you are here. Make sure to make a reservation for Fnb asap because the place extremely popular. Pizzeria Bianco is rated the best pizza place in the US by many publications. Be prepared to wait two hours if you go at night but you can probably get seated in 45 minutes if you go around 3 on a weekday (they do not accept reservations).

Other favorites of mine include Delux (Burger), Los Reyes De La Torta (Mexican), Taqueria Los Yaquis (street food tacos located in front of a gay bar, only time open while you are here is 6pm on Sunday to sunrise).

All your shopping needs will be fulfilled at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

He is not exaggerating Pizza Bianco's wait time. The wait is a mess at most times. Although, amazing pizza that destroys almost every joint on the east coast.
