Mother of God. Can someone explain the sizing to me? I've gone to Edward Green and I was a 8.5. I actually tried this shoe on, they are unreal. What's the 8/8.5 mean?

8 is the UK size - 8.5 is the US size.
Are these shoes standard width (ie an E in UK)?

Fuck myself too, as these are not my size either.

I'm afraid they would either kill my pinky toe or cause a giant pinky toe shaped bubble in the leather

Inside shoe and on the box list these as D.

I'm not sure what that means as far as US vs UK width sizing, as I've read conflicting things as to how EG sizes the width of their shoes.
