Anyone else not drink? - Page 5

After the high school and early college 'beer hero' days, it's best to leave alcohol behind (more than a couple of beers anyway). If you have any interest in being successful, good looking, etc. that is.

yes, because all successful attractive people don't drink.

I'm down to about 1-2 times per month, and I've gone a couple of months without a sip. Moving slowed me down a lot. When you're not with your old buddies, you tend to drink much less.

i don't think he's saying that, but he does have a point.

drinking over time ages you. a friend of mine is just one year older than me, but the difference is that i'll go out and drink on average 2-3 times per month whereas he'll get trashed at least 1 day out of the week (maybe even 2-3 times out of the week).

the differences between me and him (aside from the fact that i'm naturally easier on the eyes than he is) is that he looks more like a 35 year old guy whereas i look like my age (early 20s)

What I'm trying to say is... it's totally unacceptable. I would remove all associations with said guy

I am also a vegetarian by choice. Lulz.

I guess there is something wrong with people who don't take heroin unless they are smackheads or religious too?

+1.

Had a really shitty night drinking, left a party early and walked home... Cops pulled over and questioned me- was sitting there thinking "oh my fucking god, this shit is so fucking unfun and yet I might actually get a ticket over it too.

That was what made me stop (after about 3 months of debating it in my mind). Absolutely no desire to go back to it either, does nothing for me I can't recreate when sober (except not having a clue what is going on).
