Good value London restaurant recommendations?

So I plan on being in London in a couple months. The past few times I've been, I've stuck with eating Indian food b/c I found it quite good value for the money. I can't live on Shepard's pie or Fish&Chips for a week. Anyone have suggested restaurants I should check out?

value + tasty = Masala Zone.

There are a few Belgo Bars in London, really cheap and decent quality, lots of Belgian beers too.

But maybe this is mostly because I have little experience otherwise with cooking from the Kerala region and find it interesting.
