on the WSJ site now. I think this makes some sense from a casting viewpoint.

Perhaps more than a bit too young to be ideal, but certainly better than Hugh Grant.

Not what I was expecting, at all. I think I'd rather see William Shatner in Charlie Sheen's old role. Or perhaps Julian Rhind-Tutt (Keen Eddie), or even Robert Goulet, for that matter. Or, hell: Bruce Campbell. Actually, the more I think about it, I really like Bruce for that role: think of a young Sam Axe. (Burn Notice).

Robert Goulet, great!

Why not Hugh Hefner.

No one would ever guess that Hef cannot get it up. And Pfizer - Viagra can be the main sponsor.

Robert Downey Junior .. louche, sleazy, whip smart and like-able - Kutcher's too wholesome if the intention is to replace Charlie with a similar character

So, will Mr. Moore play Charlie? Or some new character?

okay here is the the perfect replacement...Emilio Estevez, think about it,your minds have been blown
post #11 of 38
He's married to a woman who's like 10 years older than him. Does not compute.

^ you know what would have potential? a sitcom with sheen and estevez reprising their roles as garbage collectors in 'men at work' with keith david.
