I was thinking about buying a pair of these suede shoes

to be worn with jeans, a khaki linen suit or chinos (stone and red) in spring and summer.

I am not sure about the color...sand looks nice, but might not be the most versatile choice. So what do you think?

I have to explain my vote. I voted chocolate since I would most likely wear these shoes in Fall Winter. However, I would go sand for Summer wear.

Having seen them all in person, navy definitely looks the best.

Are the pictures on the AE website fair representations of the colors (sometimes the colors differ quite a bit...don't know why AE can't put decent pictures on their site)?

Yes, the pictures are really quite accurate, in terms of both color and even with regards to the texture of the suede.

Navy got my vote hands down. Sand and chocolate are my runners-up in that order.

I've been thinking about getting a pair in dark brown Cordovan, to be sort of a faux-Darlton (as I wear EEE), any thoughts on that?

Do they do the player shoe in cordovan?

I have the Cambridge (cordovan wingtip balmoral) and MacNeal (cordovan longwing blucher).

I would do the navy, as I have no navy shoes. Navy slacks brown shoes, brown slacks blue shoes?

How would that go?
