Probably not. Usually it's a Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm not sure if there is one between now and October.

My mistake. Friday is their "Semi-Annual Sale" and not "Corporate Event". At least here in Canada it is.

Do you gents know if the Regent 1818 suit comes in 36? I never find it's available online but not sure if the stores stock it.

Are there any fit differences between these Milano fit OCBDs:

1. "new" OCBD made in Garland USA

2. mainline OCBD made in malaysia (i think that's where they are being made now)

3. outlet only OCBD

4. any other Brooks OCBDs I may have missed? I know they don't sell the Black Fleece ones anymore.

I'm really happy with the new OCBD, but can't stomach the price right now. I used a coupon to pick up my first one. Need to pick up 3-4 shirts kinda quickly.

I can't comment on any fit differences between the various OCBDs, but I just wanted to remind you about the "old" made-in-USA OCBD since you didn't mention it. Currently $80

I wear the old OCBDs in "Extra Slim Fit" (which they renamed to Milano) in a size 15.5/35. Later I bought a Red Fleece OCBD on sale and found that the size M was almost exactly the same fit. The Red Fleece OCBDs can be had for much less than the mainline ones. Sure, they are not made in the USA, but the material doesn't seem any worse. Here are the other differences between the Red Fleece and my mainlines ones:

1. Red Fleece collar points are maybe 0.25" shorter

2. RF shirt has a button at the back of the collar

3. RF shirt has sleeve gauntlet buttons

4. RF shirt has 2 buttons at the cuff, instead of just one, so you can adjust the cuff tightness

5. RF shirt has a locker loop

These are $52.12 USD today as part of the Semi-Annual Sale.

Does anyone know if a "kicker" will be added after Father's Day? I feel like this years "Annual Sale" is a little early as it started before Father's Day.

Thanks, @Spex . I'll try one of those out to see. I am a Milano ESF, too. Want to evaluate the collar length. Usually will go for the longer collar points.

I'll second your assertion that the quality of the Red Fleece OCBDs is quite good. I say this reluctantly because I really dislike buying imported clothing.

Also, I think the details of the RF OCBDs varies a bit. I have 4 RF university stripe OCBDs with contrasting grossgrain trim on the inside of the shirt and sleeve plackets as well as the locker loop (purchased at about $25 each on clearance). These particular OCBDs have rounded skirts with gusseting at the bottom seam - just like the Black Fleece line. Other RF OCBDs that I have do not have rounded skirts/gusseting , nor do the "old" mainline USA OCBDs.

I walked into a "pretty pretty good" BB this afternoon (Lenox Square ATL) with a $65 merch credit, a $40 credit card credit, a $20 birthday credit, and a $20 Simon Malls gift card. Walked out empty handed. Now if they'd have had that 50% off linen glen plaid suit in a non-douchebag-millennial cut we've have had something going on..... But since BB has decided that "we're J Crew at a higher price point because one of our stores stocks Edward Green....", NO SALE

Not following... you weren't thin enough to get into a suit they had? And it has to do with "millenials"?

Anyone know the maker of these lightweight penny loafers?

I don't think he's saying that. I think he prefers a fuller cut jacket vs what is sold at brooks these days. I don't think it has to do with thinness. Polo RL seems to be the same way- there used to be good difference between the cut/fit of black label vs blue label, now they are nearly the same cut.

I've been increasingly dissapointed with OTR suits these days. Pants too slim in thighs and jackets too tight in the arms. At this point I'm focusing on MTM.
