Yes, but I don't need anything bad enough to go to downtown SF. In fact, I've already talked myself out of buying the OCBD shirt I was trying to buy. I think i'm going to try Kamakura instead.

Interesting that they extended the corporate sale. Agree with the previous poster about not hitting sales targets being the likely motivation. On a related note, I received one of those 40% off invites for later this month in the mail today. A bit surprising as I've actually bought quite a bit at BB in the last few months.

The usual exclusions?

Thanks for the heads up. Now I have to ask around the office to see if anyone got this. I'm sure I won't get one.

Looks like it. In store only, no MTM, special order, charitable; "select watches and shoe styles". Assuming no cordovan.

Have Alden color 8 loafers on the way. Sales lady said there was only one pair that the catalog had. Like $505 plus tax... Hoping for no major defects and a good fit.

Sounds like you picked up the unlined hand sewn based on the price. Let me know how they fit. I tried on my van last size (10.5D) in store but they were too tight. I think these may be on the Copley last.

I should have them in hand Wednesday or Thursday. Will try to respond with sizing info. I'd imagine that the unlined cordovan fits more snugly over the last, which might make them feel tighter on the foot at first, but maybe someone else knows with more certainty in which last the bb lhs is made.

Some people swear they are Van, other swear they are not Van. I think it is possible that at some point they switched from Van to another last.

Disappointed with CIS but the current 25% sale now applies to EDV items. SA said head office is trying to get rid of CIS completely.

BB keeps jacking up prices... cashmere sweater is crazy money now.

But according to the Social Security Administration there's no inflation.

Problem beside higher price is some items have gone down in quality. Eg: Their Peacoats are wafer thin now compare to the version few years ago. What's the point of a peacoat if it doesn't keep you warm?

Anyone have any experience with Brooks' Beretta cotton jacket?

Looks like a good jacket to pic up, but not sure if the quality is decent...

Ok, I was lucky enough to get a 40% off discount coupon in the mail today. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to get??
