I finally figured out how to create an account correctly for the corporate membership. For some reason the link to register an account from "how to participate" instructions   brings you to a registration form which does NOT allow you to link your membership ID. Instead, you need to use the main site's link to register a new account.

I'm thinking about ordering this casual knit blazer:

Anyone familiar with it? Is it any good?

Which BB facebook page are these comments on?  I don't see any.

They were a million years ago, when they first changed the site - who knows if Brooks deleted them after the huge uproar.

I'm sure that in fine BB online tradition they disappear as soon as you click "Post".

Another 70% off clearance sale today. Some good deals on the Natural Craftsmanship collection sweaters and outerwear from a couple of years ago. Also quite a few Milano and Clark cotton pants.

I purchased this leather jacket 10 days ago using the 20% off code for $360 with tax. Noticed it was down to $269 today so I called and got a price adjustment, it's now $290 with tax. The rep told me that she couldn't honor the 20% off code on top of the adjustment and that they normally wouldn't even adjust the price because it's a clearance item. Is this normal policy or should I be getting more of a discount? Don't really have a friendly sales associate I can count on to help me out as I'm not a BB regular.

Also, any thoughts on the item? Fits me well but I'm not sure if $290 is a good price for this or if I'm overpaying. Not sure what type of leather this is, seems like calf most likely (not goat or lamb for sure) and while the construction is nice it's made in India and I don't know how long it'll last me. I can't afford a made in America replica for $1000+, can I do any better on the resale or new market for sub-$300? Specifically, would a Schott made in America such as this be a better built and longer-lasting jacket? Thanks!

i tried to get a price adjustment on a bunch of woolens bought on sale last week, and got flat out denied (politely of course), and was informed that only full price merchandise gets adjusted. I don't buy that much stuff from BB, so perhaps humoring me isn't worth their while, haha.

Their printed policy: "Price adjustments will be made within 10 days of original purchase date with original receipt present. Only items purchased at full price are subject to a price adjustment."

Hmm. Guess I should be grateful then! The rep told me she's been doing this for many people since it's been such a huge sale. Maybe y'all can keep calling until you find somebody friendly.
