Very odd. Bought mine a few months ago and they were dainite, don't know why anything would have changed since then. Contact BB.

I would but I already packed them up for return. By them I mean both sizes I ordered to get the right size and both of them had leather soles. I guess if it really is that unusual I can reopen the box. I did call BB and they said they would check on it.
