I walked into BB a few months ago ready to buy a Fitz, their only cut I like, and the shoulders were terrible on me. Still suitless. Still looking.

From my patent bals:

115D911

B97039 0303

|417|01

|026

The "|" could be a number 1 but it's a little taller than the 1s so...

115D is the size.  They are marketed as US size but I've found the bals run big and the pumps - which I've tried at 346 but don't own - even bigger.  I wear these with silk hose.  I also throw insoles in them since the black tie events I attend are more of the stand-up (cocktails & dancing) variety than the sit-down (dinner and speech).

It's a bad cut if you have high shoulders. The Milano on the other hand fits similarly to Zegna's own Milano model (soft shoulder).

I've also noticed that BB's Own Make SCs use a soft shoulder as well.

Well, I never was able to make the damned website work, but a very nice girl at one of the stores put the order through for me: Humans 1, Machines 1729.

Can anyone give me the skinny on BB "must iron" OCBD shrinkage?

I've recently purchased and washed (warm) and tumble dried (medium heat) a Red Fleece OCBD sport shirt and it didn't shrink at all. This particular shirt was made from blue Supima cotton and made in Malaysia.

However, I've read that the OCBD dress shirts (not sport shirts) do shrink. But based on my experience with the Red Fleece sport shirt this isn't true.

Are the dress shirts somehow different from the sport shirts such that the dress shirts do shrink? They are both made from Supima cotton. The only difference that I can see is that the Red Fleece shirt is made in Malaysia whereas the dress shirts are made in the USA.

Incidentally, the white color OCBD dress shirt that I have (not worn/washed yet) is 0.5 inches longer in the sleeves than tagged. I suppose this is to account for shrinkage. However, the other colors I have (blue, pink, red uni stripe, blue uni stripe) are not longer than tagged. This makes me think that the white OCBDs do shrink but that dyed shirts do not. Perhaps this is because the yarns used in the colored shirts are already shrunk during the dying process?

Sorry for the long message. I just don't want to wear my new dress shirts only to find out that I've purchased the wrong size after washing them. Thanks for any advice.

Seems like one of those politic sanctions have reached BB customers from Russia:)

Have just tried to make an order since -25% event started, and it redirects me to so-called Russian version with 2-3 times higher prices and where no sales or events exist. 120 bucks for polo shirt doesn't look fun

Does BB offer a version of the Alden Flex-Welt Penny (9694F is the Alden number for the exact model I have in mind, which is the Soft Dark Brown Calf)?

Anyone have the Cashmere Sweater Jacket?  Thoughts on it?  With 25% off it is down to around $405 with taxes (free shipping via Shop Runner) from $1698.  Pretty sweet looking to me.

I tried one on a few months ago. It was very nice; I remember thinking that I could never justify the $1600 or so they wanted for it. It did fit on the slim side.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Do it.  You can always return it if you don't like it.  I myself am very intrigued by this coat, even though I really don't need it:

Black Fleece, formerly $3,500, now < $800 after sale and stacked discount.  I'm such a sucker for cashmere.

I have that shirt and also love it. I also bought this one:

It also has the donegal flecks, although it is hard to tell from the photo.
