That is a good question. The $1900 price, fully canvassed, and MG all point toward Golden Fleece but from a marketing point of view WTH are they doing putting that craptastic label on GF?
GF has used two types of labels for the last few years, one for custom tailored and one for OTR which specifies the cut (Madison or Fitz in my experience). Here are examples:

Yeah that's what I've seen before as well. Just stopped by Marshalls since I got to dinner a bit early, saw the BB hanger and MG tags so decided to pick it up. Not sure why it's such a basic label though. Everything about it feels pretty good as well but the label threw me off. Been searching the b&s and it seems most people are selling these suits as golden fleece, although I'm not sure they are

Ultra noob question regarding this tag. Is this golden fleece? Found it at Marshalls for ~$500 + tax
Fully canvassed with unfinished sleeves, has Martin Greenfield tags and is made of loro piana fabric. BB tag says $1900 list price

If so is $500 a good price?

Is it a suit or sportcoat? That looks like the Nordstrom BB tag which would make it the 1818 line. I have a suit and sport coat from that line. They are a Fitzgerald fit.

Suit. But isn't 1818 line half canvas and retailing at $1k? And southwick or imported made?

I agree with you. It is possible that BB is now sending GF stuff to Nordstrom, but the only place I've seen that tag is Nordstrom.

You cannot go by the Marshalls' tag - it always lists some ridiculous retail number that may or may not be correct. I also agree that the tag is identical to the one found in the made for Nordstrom suits. Based on this, my guess would be 1818 Fitzgerald made for Nordstrom, especially if it says Made in U.S. or Italy. My only pause is that you said it has Martin Greenfield tags and Loro Piana fabric. Very interesting. You should call BB to ask.

I asked this question before and someone posted measurements, but it did not address my specific question.

In the past I have experienced that luxury slim fit shirts fit larger around the chest and waist than the non iron slim fit shirts.

Is this the case with luxury extra slim fit shirts? Do they fit larger around the chest than the regular priced non iron extra slim fit shirts?

Thanks

AFAIK, the sheep suspended by fleece(?) at the top of the tag is the Golden Fleece logo, though I'm not intimately familiar with BB suit labels. But if it's fully canvassed and made by Martin Greenfield of Loro Piana fabric, it's Golden Fleece quality whether it carries the label or not and I wouldn't hesitate to pay $500 if I liked the suit (I wouldn't ask "is this a Golden Fleece suit"; I would ask "is this suit worth $500 to me?").

Has anyone tried on or purchased the quilted blazer? Local BB doesn't carry it and I need sizing advice.

The tag I'm going off of is the BB tag. Marshalls tag says compare at some random price. It's for sure Martin Greenfield made and the fabric feels pretty nice. Just thrown off by the inside tag. Might give BB a call today and see

Just saw your listing below, which has a picture of the full canvas tag. Looks like GF without the GF tag. Congrats!

You are describing the Brooks Brothers logo. It is on many non-GF items.
