Wow...I didn't think that anyone here would still shop at BB. Then again, I hadn't been here in over a year.

These were labeled as Crockett & Jones double monks but to be honest they don't look like C&J. Can't recognize the last but I'll check my catalog tonight

What about the difference in fabric? Same vitale fabric across both?

most likely not.

If you can afford it, the GF is a big step up, but based on those prices and if you're not a suit fanatic, the 1818 will likely be good enough

The BB SA said I could use the 15% corporate discount on the EG shoes. Anyone know if they let you apply the corporate discount when It's 30% ? :)

He's asking if the 30% discount applies to EG's or if they are treated like cordovan and not part of the sale. I don't know the answer.

Think it would depend on SA. Though fwiw if you are able to find something at fault with the EGs (say sole scuffed or clear signs of try on), you should be able to get a slight discount anyways regardless of if there is a sale or not

Do these go together to create a suit?:

Seems like they would to me, but in the Q&A section of the suit jacket page, they state that the matching pants have sold out when someone asked about them.

The answer was given nearly a month ago; they could've gotten more stock since then (yes, even on sale items). You should ask your own question or email them to get a better answer. To my eye, they look the same but you can never know.
