The white vest in that second photo really bugs me. Wasn't there a plaid vest available?

How much do they shrink after a few washings? Specifically the sleeve length.

Or a pocket square?

Just ordered the shirt in the link below. Too bad they didn't have it available in extra slim fit, will have to be taken in at the waist but still a deal at the price + alteration costs.

Can someone please recommend a tie for this ensemble?
Thanks!

I bought 3 of the Gatsby shirts after the suggestions above - thanks, guys.  They arrived yesterday.  They really are great shirts, but seem to be a little big for their measured size.  I usually wear a 17 35 and with that size in this shirt, I can fit 4 fingers in the neck.  Going to try to exchange today.

I also bought 3 of the golden fleece v-neck sweaters, and they are also great.  That really was a great sale.

For what it's worth, mine fit true to size.

Note that they will shrink when they are washed and dried. You may want to wash one of them a few times and see how it fits before swapping them for a different size.

Do they usually take back shirts that have been washed?

I've never tried, but my understanding is that Brooks has a very generous return policy.

That might be pushing it though, but worth trying I guess. I'll bet you could sell them on B&S for what you paid, given the super low sale price.

What you meant to say was, they'll be on B&S in a few weeks time smile.gif

Since I'm the new guy just getting into the world of SF, a simple question. I understand that they have a great sale online during Christmas, and in stores after Christmas...does this include suits?

And what about Black Friday?

Your best sale will be the day after Christmas, but I believe stock might be limited by then.
The week leading to Christmas if I recall, they go through most of the categories being on sale, including suits...

Go into your local BB store the week before Christmas, find the suit you want, then get them to hold it and ring it up at the sales price the day after Christmas. Perhaps not everyone will be willing to do this, but I've done it a couple of different times at different BB stores.

I do this routinely (particularly for the corporate sale since it's always on a Thursday), and actually leave my credit card information so that they can ring it up. SA's understand, and they want the sale.
