Gives you free 2nd day shipping for lots of stuffs at BB.
Dunno if it applies to the 3for shirts.

Any chance you know why it doesn't apply to everything? At first I thought it was just different warehouses or something but it still ships from same place, just seems random items are excluded

Not a clue.
During the corporate sale earlier this year I ordered some black cordovan LHS and a shirt that was something like $75.
I almost hit submit before I noticed there was a charge for like $12 shipping on the search.
Screw that. I just ordered the LHS with free shipping.

Haha yes I've held off ordering a few items during the clearance sales for this reason as well

Rue La La has Brooks Brothers and some Black Fleece today, not really digging prices though

The lowest price would be around Xmas (around 35-40% if you have a BB credit card) or during a friends and friends event (25%) … and we're talking shirts in clearance where you'd be able to stack the discount on top of the clearance price. For regularly priced items, I think the corporate sale and Xmas (before or after … can't remember which) is the lowest, but we're only talking 5%-10% or so difference from the F&F or corp event … not enough to be worth the wait IMO. In any case, wear your new shirts in good health!

Agreed. It is tough to find patterns that I like during the corporate incentive day because they sell out quick. I was going to pick up some OCBDs from the next corporate event, but I see that Kamakura shirts are getting some good reviews these days, so will go with their OCBDs instead. Though if you are looking for non-iron stuff it's tough to beat Brooks Brothers.

I love my Kamakuras. Definitely try them out if you can. Worth stopping by the shop on Madison Ave if you're local.

I have both the Kamakura and BB ocbds. I personally feel Kamakura shirts feels a bit more substantial and nicer. But overall the quality is pretty comparable, and it really depends on which shirt fits You better, Kamakura is quite slim and won't fit well if you have a big drop from the chest to waist. So I'd suggest trying them on, or at least compare measurements to make sure the shirt will fit.

Does anybody here recall from last year around November timeframe that there was a 40% off sweater sale?

I believe that each day during one week in early December Brooks Brothers has a different department on sale at 40% off.

I'm not sure that Brooks Brothers fits well either with a big chest to waist drop - I have maybe a 6" drop, and I ended up getting my Brooks ESF darted.  Both Kamakura slim fits are darted, and I don't believe they have pleats, so I would have thought they'd fit better.  Unless I'm completely off-base, in which case I would be glad to be corrected.  :D

I know that CIS doesn't typically apply to EG shoes, but is that a hard rule, or do some SAs make an exception?

They have honored it before when I called the number on website

I just renewed my corporate discount card online and received a confirmation email confirming my renewal, will I receive a new card for store use?

How does that shirt fit? I usually wear their ESF but they only carry SF in that line.

Well, I just bought one so I'll let you know when it comes. I imagine it probably fits like their normal slim fit shirts do.
