Anyone know if BB is having problems filling and shipping orders? The order I placed on corporate discount day has not shipped yet.

i got a shipping confirm on the next day (fri)
they split my order into two shipments because i guess one of the boots was coming from a different place
and received one shipment on wed (a day early!!!) and one on thurs

Same here. I actually placed the order on Thursday morning and got the delivery Saturday. But I only ordered shirts.

Last year, on the other hand, I ordered a Fitz suit during the F&F sale that took about 2 weeks to deliver. Since it was the only one left, I always wondered if they ended up having to find one at a store and have it shipped to me.

Yes, I ordered a brown suit and they could be trying to locate it. The suit was on sale for 50% off but I had to buy since it was Saxxon wool with flat front pants and side vents. Not many of those available at BB.

Also, I was trying to buy a sport coat that was in stock one minute, then out of stock and then back in stock, seems as though they're having trouble with merchandise status.

I tried on the Irish linen trousers and the country club saxxon pants, both plain front and Madison fit. The saxxon seemed to have a higher rise, or I was just wearing them incorrectly. Is it possible BB actually has different configurations for the same style of pant?

Anyone know when the luxury extra slim fit shirts will go on sale? They seem to use really nice fabrics. What do you all think of that range?

I've never seen the luxury ESF on sale, but I've got a few of the slims (which are significantly slimmer than the supima slims). The fabric is exceptionally nice (Egyptian cotton), though not as resilient (probably get about 24 months' wear out of them).

What size are you? I have a golden fleece Egyptian cotton in a 16.5/35 that I've only worn once, looking to trade/sell.

This touches on the main reason I have trouble finding BB shirts I like - almost all of them have breast pockets. The luxury line doesn't, but as you mentioned they rarely go on sale.

Does anyone have one of the 100% linen jackets from BB? I am considering getting one for summer, and am wondering if they are decent. At $336 (25% off), they seem like a good deal right now.

Is right now a good time to go shopping for a pair of 1818 suits? I'm not in any urgent need of a suit, but it's hard to pass up a sale.

 

Right now it' the 25% off sale (for BB card holders). Stacking that with the "2 for $1,699" promo, that's about 36% off a pair of 1818 suits, which normally cost $998. With Saxxon wool 1818 suits, the discount is even greater, as much as 47%.

 

Is it worth getting a pair of suits right now, or is it better to wait for a possibly deeper discount during the summer clearance? Or maybe even waiting till the Christmas sale?
