+1..sometimes I take it for granted that I have local stores (not limited to BB) nearby....for members w/o access to a local store, I can understand why it can be challenging to build a relation with an SA over the phone/web...it took me awhile from East/West coast base merchants that I deal with..

Last year on Boxing Day at the RBC location in Toronto they had just about all sizes in everything...maybe it's different here.

horders biggrin.gif ..interesting b/c my SA mentioned before that they try to limit inter-store item xfers due to some inventory/stocking policy when one of the last available item in my sz was from the Toronto store... I don;t know if true since he did it then and even now if needed. They prefer orders are taken/shipped from main warehouse

I understanding what you're talking about because I was a sales associate at one time too.

I don't normally do advanced planning or look for Brooks Brothers sales. When I receive an email from them, I go directly to suits to check the price and size availability. If the price is too good to pass up, I buy, otherwise I can do without. I previously purchased a couple Madison 1818 suits with the Saxxon wool for 60% off. That's too good to pass up and risk they may be out of stock by the time I waited several hours to email a sales associate.

So the sale I mentioned before is not happening.
I apologize, as I did not intend to mislead anybody, but was rather communicating information passed down from several levels of management. Im not sure who got confused/miscommunicated, but here is the list of the actual discounts just received in my mail.

None of the BB stores in Toronto carry their ESF dress shirts in blue. They have Light Blue and French Blue, just no Blue. ffffuuuu.gif

Yeah true, I picked up three last year but the selection was limited. I was hoping it would be better by this year but guess not.

So the consensus is to hold off purchasing until day after Christmas if I want to snag a few OCBD's? I can go to BB in person on Dec 26 but I don't have a relationship with a sales associate there yet.

So when does this sale actually start then?

Edit: Never mind I got my catalog of the sale from BB today. It says it starts Wednesday.

So what is the deal with the kicker? We will get an email with a code or do you have to ask a SA on Wednesday?
