Couple of quick questions for you experts out there:

1. I have a few regular BB OCBD shirts Supima made in USA, also one non-wrinkle-free BD made in Malaysia shirt.  Is the non-iron BD shirts more transparent / light weight than the non-wrinkle-free?

2. What's the best time to buy the Advantage Chinos and non-iron shirts?

Thanks.

for non iron shirts, they do 2 sales a year where it's like 2/109 or something. Once in spring and once in the fall. the date escapes me, might in the weeks after thanksgiving.

Does anyone know what Brooks' Black Friday (or Cyber Monday) promotions will be?

I received a flyer advertising 20% off if you use your mastercard.  Last year I got the same notice, but there was also an unannounced 25% off of shoes and sweaters (40% off when the two discounts were combined).  I suspect we may see the same thing this year.

In general non-iron is done by applying a treatment that makes the fabric less breathable, so a must-iron is going to in general feel lighter than a non-iron of otherwise-comparable fabric.

Agreed. However, I believe there is some variation even within non-iron shirts from the same brand. I recently purchased three BB non-iron extra slim fit shirts; two of them felt pretty "normal" for non-iron shirts, but one of them had a softer fabric, and felt more like a regular "must iron" shirt. I kind of wish they were all like that one...

Has anyone ordered these?

If so what do you think of them and how do they fit?

I got a flyer that said 20% off if you order before noon on Friday and Saturday using your BB credit card. However, since their website is such garbage now, I'm not even going to bother.

You still own a phone though?

So to confirm:

20% off for all customers + an extra 20% if you have the BB credit card.

Is this correct?

Can somebody give me an idea how the milano fits? I'm usually a 38R/39R in the fitzgerald; how much sizing up is required?

I think the flyer said 20% if you use your MC and 15% off for all other forms of purchase, so I dont' believe there is a double discount, unless they decide to offer it on top

I do but I still refuse to mess with the website or call up CS until the site gets fixed.

You could always email me.

Also, the discount yields the 20% OR 15% off depending on tender (no stacking).

Hope you all have a good Thanksgiving smile.gif
