Well, I did call them and they confirmed that the BF suit I originally wanted only had one left in their entire inventory. ffffuuuu.gif

If was an impulse purchase, not gonna lose sleep over it. Nevertheless, for an established outfit like BB to have a second rated calamity of a website is indeed head-scratching. facepalm.gif

Well the BF part of the website is definitely effed up but the rest of the website seems to be fine.

Ordered this item 2h ago:

Only bad part is, I waited about 30min too long to pull the trigger and mediums are gone so I opted for the large. Hopefully it fits...

Thinking about getting a leather jacket. Anyone have thoughts on the Elliot Leather Bomber?

Yeah service was super shit today as well. Had 10 minutes before work today and got my order ready as I keep items in my cart always. Tried to check out 3 times and failed. Then finally got a chance to call, Robert in SF was friendly as usual but I called too late as I was too busy at work. SA in Stanford was out today and Bleeker street staff was very short, probably cause 5 million people called today. And honestly just for C&J shoes that I've bought before and returned but thought it'd be worth it at $100 less.

Just called my local SA and kopped the last BB3 BF Navy Cashmere trench in the country (the one Patek got). He said "New York" so I guess it was at 346. If fit or color don't work it will go up on this thread and B&S before I return.

Are the B&M stores honoring the online prices? Can you order your size and get the sale price? I tried calling my local and didn't get through so figured I'd ask here.

Yes, call your SA.

Nice, thanks. I'll just walk over there but can't go for an hour or two. Thanks for your help.

Do SAs get a commission for placing orders that ship to the purchaser's home address? If so, it's probably always in our best interest to buy the clearance stuff through the local store. I at least want my SAs to prosper and if they come to recognize and remember me, I doubt that will hurt me later.

I would think they get some sort of credit, if not commission, otherwise they would be reluctant to do it.

Yeah - this plus I have really popular sizes that are never available in big online clearance sales. Until just recently I didn't have a BB store within 45 minutes of me but now it's a 10 minute walk.

Why wouldn't they get a commission?  If the item you want is in stock at the store, your SA will ring it up and set it aside.  If it's not in stock, the SA will order it and have it shipped to your home.  How is this any different from a normal purchase in the store?

After striking out on-line with my BF order (like everyone above), I called my local store (Atlanta -- Mary was very helpful). All but one item I wanted was in stock at either the Bleecker St. or the N. Michigan Ave. store. Keeping fingers crossed that the stuff actually get here . . . .

My local store told me the stuff on clearance up to 70% now is only online and only in those sizes. Maybe they lied? I did say if they could get any of them I was gonna spend about $1,000 today so I can't imagine an incentive to lie.
