Have an SA check inventory to see if it is at another store or when additional inventory is expected.  BB is notorious for putting stuff up on the website even though they are still waiting on their full inventory.  I purchased a blazer last Fall that did not come into stock until January 2nd.

I have a similar item from a few years back..great for Fall as you said. This is one of my go to SC when strolling around. One thing I noticed though with recent Fitz items is that they are cut a little trimmer than before, or it could be that I'm just fat.

Thanks..I just placed my order. With the 25% plus a $60 store credit, can't get any better than this IMO.

For those thinking about the 257 in Tan, I believe my SA mentioned that there are 2 left..Plenty of the Otter Green/Olive though...Edit: per BB website, looks like Tans are gone...

If you are a size 8D or 13D, this Peal perforated suede i think is a great deal for $299.00 less 25%

I'm not sure if they trimmed up the line or if the difference is attributable to where it was manufactured.  My Lardini Fitz (purchased first) is fuller and longer than my Southwick Fitz.

Interesting. I have an old Fitz with a Lardini label and you are right, it is a little fuller. But the new ones, how can you tell w/o the labels? Most of the Fitz are now made in China, except with Saxxon cloth of which most are US made..

Yeah, my other guess was that some of the stuff never existed in that size. This is another item that may not exist. Looks stupid on the model, but he looks stupid in a Madison as well.

When I saw it on the website, I didn't think it would be all that versatile.  But when I saw it in the store, it became clear that the quality of the photograph was not doing the fabric justice.  It is my first Harris Tweed jacket, and I love the feel and quality of the fabric.  I will say it is pretty heavy though, so probably more ideal for late fall than early, depending on where you are.  Unfortunately, I can't speak to how it runs size-wise because I've lost weight and am wearing smaller sizes than before.

It was going to be my one jacket purchase this fall, but after seeing this jacket in store, I knew when F&F came I would cave and get it.  It looks great online, but it is really impressive in person.  Full canvas too: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=678&Product_Id=1701586&Parent_Id=217&default_color=NAVY-GREEN&sort_by=&sectioncolor=&sectionsize=

He helped me get free shipping on a previous order and I'm going to place my order with him later today.

Even if I'm in New Jersey?

yeah doesn't matter where you are located. When SA's place orders through catalogue they don't charge shipping.

Since you are in NJ, you shouldn't have to pay any tax. If you are able to get no tax and no shipping, then you should be fine. If he is going to charge you tax, you are probably better off going another route.

My understanding of the ny law is that it is based on $110 per item, not in the total order amount
