In all seriousness, if you're happy . . you're happy, but there really are better options out there for your $130 per shirt if you want MTM.  Fear of the unknown should not dissuade you from branching out and experimenting.

Anytime son, but mine will be catered to my physique and yours well its gonna look like a ballon on you and then you will take it to a tailor which times and money.  So yeah not a problem I hope I do meet you next to me in the check out line maybe we can grab some brewsques who knows...unless you get mad if im richer than you financially?

Exactly, if one was to experiemtn with many tailors he will soon realize that he is spending money over each time to tell the tailor the fit he wants and he will have to them to alter it the 2nd time. Imagine doing this with 10 different tailors and each tailor has to come back and alter the first time thats 20 times.  Thats alot of time wasted when you can stick with one tailor he messes up once then gets it right the 2nd time and then you come back for more he knows exactly what you want and he gets it perfect over and over.....

Can we get a mod in here?

I am sure I am not alone in not caring one iota how either of you feel about one another.

let's get back to BB.

was there anything actually on sale in this last labour day weekend sale? i didn't see anything beyond what was usually in the clearance section.

I bought 2 pants for about $100 each on sale when normal price was $248 a piece.

I'm not a mod, but this thread is open to all topics related to BB, whether sizing, fit, etc., so the previous conversation about MTO fits within the theme of this thread. Just sayin'

I think the point was though that you could get MTM for less than what you are paying. I'm not sure about what other tailors have for their selection of non-iron cloth, but I like the Brooks Brothers Non-Iron clothing, so that would be an incentive for me to choose Brooks Brothers. $130 is a little too rich for my blood though.

I've been trying to get my hands on a particular size Extra Slim Fit all cotton oxford.

they are nowhere to be found in physical stores (including the flagship 346 Madison store facepalm.gifbaldy[1].gif)

then I tried online, only to be delayed repeatedly for about 6 weeks now. ffffuuuu.gif

This is exactly the point. Tailors won't work with non-iron cloth and neither will any other MTM program that I've found. This is my reason for using the BB MTM program. Unfortunately, I never find them on sale (just to keep with the theme of the thread).

If anyone wears a 16.5 neck 35 sleeve, BB has an all cotton luxury line shirt for $44 online, burgundy stripe.
