I am looking for a traditional OCBD, but would love the non-iron practicality. The non-iron version is not labeled as oxford-cloth, so I am not sure if its of a different material.

the non-iron version is not oxford cloth. it is much thinner and has a slippery feel because of the chemicals they have enhanced it with. i have both and think both are great.

For the Peal Perf Captoes or Medallion Captoes that are made by C&J...would you say those are made on sleeker or more conservative lasts that Regular C&J branded shoes?  I looked at the pictures on the website and they seem more conservative than some of the C&J's Ive seen online, but it could just be the angles etc.  Is anyone able to comment?

I think I may have seen them in person, but I think the pictures are right. They are more conservative than say the 348 last.

Conservative.  Very similar to the C&J Connaught.

You guys probably know this from years past but in July select fashion items (linen, seersucker, fashion suits, fashion shirts, etc.) get marked to 40%-50% off. Other basics will go back to FP....

What do you all think about bb dress shoes?

I bought a pair of Allen Edmond park avenues two weeks ago and I'm having a problem with my small toe on my right foot blistering.

I tried on the Pearl and co captoe today and it definitely feels more comfortable than the avenues.

if BB Peal (by C&J) fits better and you can afford it, then go for it...definitely better material and construction...

Have you already returned the Park Avenues? If not, or if you can't, try taking them to an Allen Edmonds store and having them stretched a bit. If there isn't one near you, a decent cobbler should be able to do this for you.

thanks, so we're at full discount for suits right now? i guess i'll just bite the bullet, hope it stacks with the corporate card.
