Clearance items remain at clearance prices--no further discounts. Most regular priced items are discounted 25% to 40%. For example, buy one tie for 25% off or buy two or more ties for 40% off.

Does the herringbone make it too informal for wear in a relatively formal office environment (think banking, law, etc.)? It seems like there are some conflicting views out there.
Also, if anyone owns or has seen this suit up close, can you comment on the size of the herringbone pattern? Tough to make out on the BB site.

It's more subtle than what those photos convey. When I see it I think "rich", not "informal". It is a subtle and interesting fabric which takes it a step beyond an ordinary suit

Gentlemen, I apologize for the late reply.

June 18th - Semi Annual Sale

30% Mens Tailored ( Suits, sport coats, dress trouser)

25% Shoes (exclude E.G, Harry's, Cordovan)

Buy 2 25% OFF buy 4 40% OFF - Shirts

Womens - 40%

This is obviously a quick summary.

Basic pieces usually go back to full price after 2 weeks while Fashion pieces go into clearance. This is when Suits and other items will reach their lowest prices but inventory is obviously the issue by then.

Hope all is well biggrin.gif

Wasn't there a 60% off sale last year? That's the one I'm waiting for :D

I'm actually not sure on that one...

Very strange..

added 4 dress shirts and the discount is only 12.5%, not 40%???!

Does anyone have experience with BB sunglasses? Can you comment on their quality?

Just picked up a bow tie, two supima button downs, and a pair of fitz canvas trousers.  Anyone know if the supima cotton shirts are non-iron.  I'm allergic to the non-iron.  They don't mention it, but I don't trust them to label everything well.

There's supima non-iron and non-non-iron. All the non-iron ones are labeled non-iron.

I have two BB slim fit dress shirts I want to get rid of if anyone wants.

15.5 x 34

Light Blue

Light Pink

9 out of 10 condition.

I will beat the current 2 shirt BB deal by 10%. PM me if interested.

I'm still having navy blazer dilemmas. Narrowed it down to these:

http://www.ctshirts.com/men's-outerwear/men's-sport-coats-and-blazers/Navy-tailored-fit-blazer?q=2fsbi4||BL038NAV|||||||||||||

http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=679&Product_Id=1493388&Parent_Id=217&default_color=NAVY&sort_by=newArrivals&sectioncolor=&sectionsize=40 Long#null

If anyone can provide some feedback that would be a big help. They're all within my budget so I'm really just looking to hear which one would be the best fit and quality for a navy blazer that I can wear around an office that is mostly business casual (only Senior VP's wear suits daily).

Edit: I guess the links got chopped? The 2 BB's I posted at the Fitzgerald blazer in navy and the 1818 blazer in navy.

This one would be a slight budget stretch but it's manageable: http://www.parkandbond.com/product/112524204

Slightly off topic ... but does anyone know why the Brooks Brother supima shirts say they are made in the USA of "imported fabric". Doesn't Supima by definition mean that its American pima cotton?

Example -

I went to the Madison store to pick something up for the sale but it wasn't there. Received some pretty horrible service- no one helped me and I went through five floors alone.

Anyways, I called the number on the BB site to order the item and whoever picked up said there was no free shipping when you called on the phone. I was a bit disappointed but I just bought it anyways since I didn't have time to waste and I already gave the basic information. I'm guessing it needs to be a personal SA number to always get free shipping on orders?

From what I understand if you have an SA, instore, order you something, there is free shipping. If you call yourself, you'll be charged shipping.

Winston is right, you need to have the SA place an order for it to ship free.
