In regard to stacking the "2 for" suit deal w/ corporate 30% off, my SA said no go and reading the fine print from the mailer, it's says that it can't be used in conjunction w/ any other promotion. So what now? Do I sneak around the store and see if a different SA will stack them? Lol. I feel like I'd be cheating on my SA. Whatever, I'm not really in the market for 2 suits but I would consider it if they'd let me stack.

all the stores on rodeo drive close at 6pm
if you're in LA, you can go to the century city westfield mall BB store
they are open til 9pm
it's a smaller store and they don't carry black fleece and such there ... but their suit selection is almost as big as the rodeo drive, i'd say

^I think downtown SF closes at 6 too and so does RL which I never understood.

Yeah that's what the fine print says. I'm sort of banking on the hope that they will let me stack, as a previous poster has mentioned that they will during corporate incentives sales. Assuming you purchase two 1818 regents suits in solid navy:
Not Stacked = $1098 * 2 * 0.7 * 1.0875 = $1671, or $835 per suit.
Stacked = $1599 * 0.7 * 1.0875 = $1217, or $608 per suit
$835 is pretty steep for a half-canvas suit, considering what you can find on B&S here and elsewhere. $608 is much more reasonable.
On March 15th, go to the BB website, put two suits in your shopping cart, enter your corporate id number and see what happens. If the website gives you 30% off the Brooks Buy price, you can either purchase online or go to your store and ask again. If the SA gives you the same answer, point out that the website is giving 30% off the Brooks Buy price. The SA will match it.

Anyone have experience from buying online with the corporate incentive discount? It would be great if I didn't have to travel an hour to try to convince an SA to apply the discount to stack price (if it doesn't work online)...
Yes, I've done it. You simply enter your corporate ID number and the computer does the rest. The downside is you have to pay shipping, which you would not have to do if you went to BB. You're also cutting your SA out of a commission, which will not help build the relationship. Because I've gotten wrong information from SA's during sales in the past, I usually just use the website to check to see if the current sale is one that offers a discount on the Brooks Buys. My BB is also a few blocks away, so I do not have the travel issue that you do.

Nice. Yeah, the travel would be pretty crappy for me, that would be a great second option. Thanks for the info.
I went to the sale this weekend to buy a navy fitzgerald. I was able to stack the 15% off with a new BB credit card, on top of the $200 off for the sale, plus for anyone with a discover card credit card you can get a $100 gift card to BB for 80 reward points. So I used that and the suit ended up costing me $580.

i can't get enough
i want to upgrade my black captoes (bruno magli's ... they fit GREAT and love the look but the quality is terrible)
I hear you. I update a few shoes and suddenly I see other holes in my shoe collection. Does it ever end? There may be a 12 step program for this shoe thing, but I'm hoping it doesn't start until after I pick up a pair of the Peal captoes in brown.

the same ones i got?
they are great
at first i thought they look way too plain and boring and wasn't sure if they were worth the money
but now i love them
better than my captoes with the medallions and such
now... i got mine at a great price ... $300 including sales tax because they used to be priced at $488 and black friday had a great sale on shoes
but now the peal & co. prices have been jacked up to $598 .... so even with a huge discount, it will never get that low in price again

The price increase sucks, but I have $200 in BB gift cards sitting around without a purpose. A sale and the gift cards brings them down to the same price I would pay for a pair of Allen Edmonds and these look much nicer. I'm not entirely sure yet, though, and may think about it for awhile.
