I'm selling a pair of Murray's Toggery Shop Nantucket Reds, tagged at 30x32. These are the original Nantucket Red pants and a staple of NE American sailing and leisure culture. Reds are widely-imitated at this point, but the cloth used by Murray's is unparalleled and really sets these apart from imitations. Not unlike raw denim, the reddish dye used is intended to fade with time into a well-worn pink. I wasn't satisfied with the generous cut of these pants when I bought them, so I took them to my tailor who created a more modern fit my slimming the legs and taking in the unnecessarily-large amount of fabric in the seat. He did a fantastic job and the pants fit well now, but after wearing them once I've decided they're just a bit much for my style. Measurements are 15.5" across the waist, 11" rise, 10.75" seam to seam across the top of each thigh, 9.5" seam to seam across the knee, 8.5" across the seam at the ankle. 31.5" inseam including a 1.25" cuff the pants came with. I'm asking $65 > $50 shipped - less than new pair of Reds, straight from Murray's with their atrocious fit.
