Almost as irritating as people posting stupid things on Facebook is people having their accounts compromised resulting in a mass spamming. I see at least one posting a week in my news feed that is clearly the result of someone having their account compromised.

This one girl I can barely stand as it is had her account hacked today and because we share dozens of mutual friends, my entire newsfeed was spam from her account. Someone made fun of her for it and she's getting all defensive about it. "Don't blame me!" Well, who shoulders the blame there? Wouldn't she have had to do something to allow her account to be hacked? *sigh*

Chronically single white trash girl who is fucked in the head, meats a guy. Immediately change status to "in relationship", new profile pic with them together, throngs of updates on her amazing new man. Less than a week later, "Ugh Im so over guys, theyre all so dumb" Cue peanut gallery, "you go girl!" Rinse repeat.

ugh

Sometimes those cutesy motivational sayings can actually be very clever. "The difference between try and triumph is a little umph." In any case, they seem to be more of a Twitter phenomenon.

I tried to change my status to "In a relationship with Myself" but Facebook doesn't allow that

I always despised when girls in college would set their relationship status to "in a relationship" with one of their girlfriends.

I see sayings like that almost exclusively from some of the most uninspiring people on my friends list.

I and many of my friends are done with college and I still see quite a bit of that.

As bad are the people have "married" as their relationship status when that isn't the case.

It was a Charade-style pinprick to verify death at the burial?

I was able to do that for a while...I used to have two accounts (maybe I still do) from when facebook first opened up from just college students to allowing in high school students. They had to be invited by a current college student and the networks were separate at first (not like now where you can join many) so I had one there. edit: I still have two...and I am super disappointed that I have less friends in common with myself than that account has friends. That means that 3 people unfriended real me but thought that high-school me was still suitable.

Same here, and they're "married."
