The marriage of a very good friend of mine ended owing in part to the wife's addiction to this game. Of course there were other problems, but the woman literally stopped working in order to play this from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed.

So, a friend I've known since High school works on a private train as a chef. I'm told by reliable friends that he's excellent at it, and I have no reason to doubt this.

That said, he also posts a lot of math/science - related stuff, and I don't recall him being at all interested in the field. I was the big math/science junkie back then and we had zero common ground on that front. He claims a degree from our alma mater that I didn't know they offered (biophysics, ?). So yesterday he posts about this argument he got into and posted about how negative numbers can have positive square roots, and how he learned that in 8th grade, and I thought - oh, Jav. Do I post, or no? I mean, he had it totally backwards.

Then I remembered, he's a rake and a total BS-er. We get along great and he's good people, but still spins a line of BS like nobody's business. Funny how I forgot these things.
