To be wrongly accused of a crime must be awful...
Before DNA , countless individuals have been sent to the gallows by the great justice system and we aren't talking of the odd ones here..
Police corruption . politics , over-zealous DA ansd so on...
We still find innocent people on death row , less than before but still..
I can't imagine justifying killing an innocent man to protect the system..
People are always gun ho about criminality and justice until a loved one gets in the frame...
This argument is idiotic because killing an innocent will never prevent further crime by the single fact by carrying the sentence ,you leave a guilty man somewhere getting away with murder..

DNA solves none of those problems since it can be changed, erased, and planted, it only helps in genuine miscarriage of justice.

What about all the cases where you are letting guilty people go because there isn't enough evidence for you to convict them according to your rules to protect the innocent?
Edit: you've already dealt with this

I think there's a difference between being incarcerated without reason by the state and being attacked by someone acting outwith the law.

It sounds like you're (you and the backers of the state) washing your hands of the violence and injustice while letting it continue.

love the photochopped pic and how the author took time to explain what a "barbecue party" is

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY................
A 21 year old guy had worn a pair of contact lenses during a barbecue party.(An event or meal at which food is cooked outdoors over an open grill or fire)
While barbecuing he stared at the fire charcoals continuously for 2-3 minutes.
After a few minutes, he started to scream for help and moved rapidly, jumping up and down.
No one in the party knew why he was doing this?

Then he admitted into the Hospital, the doctor said he'll be blind permanently because of the contact lenses that he had worn.
Contact lenses are made by plastics, and the heat from the charcoal melted
his contact lenses.

DO NOT WEAR CONTACT LENSES WHERE OVERHEATING AND FLAMES ARE CONCERNED.... OR
WHILE COOKING...!

Friends if u feel the information is important, Please pass this message to
All your near & dear ones.

That's so dumb  No way in hell does a BBQ melt anybody's contacts unless they stuck their damn face into the coals.

+1. This isn't inconceivable at first, since plastics can have fairly low melting points (50-80C), which is why stupid people say these things. That said, diffusion of the steam would be so rapid that it would be impossible to have enough concentrated vapor to actually reach your eye, overpower the teardrops that are cooling your eyes, and melt the lens onto your retina without some other damage.

Before the interwebs, FTW did mean F@ck The World. All the wannabe punk anarchists would write FTW on their leather jackets and bathroom stalls... When I first read FTW online, I also thought it meant **** the world.

yeah but you old folk are...well....old.
all jokes aside, this is hardly the type of girl who is into an anarchist subculture like that. she's just a marsupial. (fwiw she isn't on my friends list, but commented on a mutual, yet equally as stupid, friend's picture)

but she didn't actually equate "ftw" with "**** the world" in her post...you are the one who did that.

yes, i realize I'm weeks behind which, in and of itself, is a failure.

Neither, but unsurprisingly, she isn't attractive. I'm actually don't even know her. She's a friend of someone on my FB friends list who fits the prototypical Facebook "friend" to a T.

I meant our mutual "friend" fits the prototypical FB "friend" to a T because we aren't really friends.

That's the worrying part...

She is perfectly fitting your profile and she is Christian conservative???
