(...)

I was considering making "Procrastination is the Assassination of your Destination" my signature, but it's too asinine even to quote in jest.

I was going to sig it as well, but decided to do it later.

I was amazed to learn Tony Robbins is still doing his thing, and that there's still a market for that crap in this jaded, world-wise era.

I bet it's made his followers become more ardent. Perhaps he has fewer fans but more loyalty. To be honest, I couldn't even remember his name. I had to go to the Shallow Hal IMDB page and figure out who it was that made Jack Black start liking the larger ladies.

I was going to sig it as well, but decided to do it later.

Hmmm, I notice no admonitions against comparing your, um, religion to others', um, religions.

I suppose it depends on what type of pants you're wearing that day.

^Therefore go forth and make disciples of all nations.

there's a personal aspect to it but you cant deny that if a religion claims to be true then it's only natural for believers to want to share the truth. but i dont think the best way to do it is the go shoving it down people's throats.

this is something a few friends have been sharing

‎"I hear all this, 'this is class warfare.' No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody. You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did. Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along." - Elizabeth Warren, creator of the federal government's new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Democratic candidate for the Senate

It's oversimplification, but it's not quite idiotic. Idiotic would be suggesting that we should lynch central bank officials because they think expansionary monetary policy is a good idea. I'd agree that Warren could go into greater depth and make more precise statements, but at least she's getting Democratic ideals across in an effective manner. Most Democrats in the last few years have been terrible communicators.

Not that stupid...

All these things entrepreneurs are taking for granted are paid through taxes...

No taxes ...No roads , no hospitals ,teachers and so on...

It's nice to promote extreme individualism but it has its shortcomings..

A couple from this friend of mine

"I'll be strong and weak, but you must swear you'll love me."
Boyfriend: *I swear! :D

"Finding a four-leaf clover is easier than finding a true friendship. I loathe any kind of relationship soiled by self-interest, insincerity, and jealousy... that obviously can't be called friendship."

"As usual, I'm not selfish enough..."

" Food, back off""

"I depend upon you, especially your mood."

"I know it hurts"

"Want you to make me feel like I’m the only girl in the world, like I’m the only one that you’ll ever love, like I’m the only one who knows your heart !!!"

"If you really need to two-faced, try and have a cute one..."

Plus a selection of the cheesiest quotes ever conceived.
