To be honest, with running shoes, the last thing you should worry about is how they look. It's important to get a good shoe that is designed for your type of foot. If you over or under pronate this is critical. Buy based on need, not style.
No one can recommend running shoes over the internet. One mans perfect fit is another mans torture device. Need to seek out a professional. Just like you would for a suit. I know for a fact that Nike will make you any shoe you want. If someone helps you find a nike that works for you, you can then go to nike world and order them in and color combination you would like. Maybe other shoe companies offer the service but nike is the only one I am familiar with and have used. Here ya go. Air pegasus trail running shoe like I order in all black. But again you need to seek a professional to find the right shoe first. http://nikeid.nike.com/nikeid/index....088&size=false
black running shoes are usually dorky, esp w/white socks. i found some black UA running shoes at marshall's for $30 which are tolerable looking and not that comfortable, more for looks than running. glad i didn't pay more. to other posters... not everyone RUNS in running shoes. (the high heel effect makes you a little taller and makes your chest stick out).
