I don't think there was an egg, and there was definitely St. Germain. I just asked the bartender to surprise me with with a chartreuse cocktail and that's what I got. Never asked what it was called.

Assuming that you misremember the grapefruit part, probably "The Gypsy":

1½ parts \tGin
¾ part \tSt-Germain
½ part \tGreen Chartreuse
½ part \tFreshly Squeezed Lime Juice

Yes, that could be it, although I might need to rename it something less feminine.

A good cognac, Drambui, or Grand Marnier. Also a good old single malt scotch-Glenlivet or Glenfiddich-at least 30 yrs old. Very smooth, especially with a good cigar! La Gloria Cubana Maduro Serie R No. 6 for me.

The myers bottle has had, at least at one point, a drink called the sharkbite listed on the back, which is Dark rum (duh), grenadine and OJ. At one point, being out of grenadine, I decided to sub in something else sickly sweet. I used half a shot of amaretto.

Much better IMO, and I suggest you try it. I've made it for friends before, and everyone loves it. An aged or spiced rum seems to work just as well as the full out dark, though white doesn't seem to cut it. Dirt simple too. Pour a shot of rum and half a shot of amaretto over ice in a tumbler, fill with OJ.

Will have to try this. Thanks!

Definitely Blue Label on rocks. If it's a casual setting then Hennessy rocks it is.
